The law imposes certain duties upon associations with regard to the security of owners and occupants of units.  A rapidly developing area of law, boards must be aware of the risk and liability exposure for the association, board members and professional managers, and take active steps to eliminate security weaknesses in your building. 

Speakers will discuss recent case law that exposes associations, boards and managers to liability for criminal or wrongful acts committed on community property.  And offer best practices to identify and address those security risks lurking in your building and community.
