LEGISLATIVE ACTIVITY

NEW HAMPSHIRE

The New Hampshire Legislative Action Committee (NHLAC) is devoted to keeping informed of legislative issues affecting New Hampshire condominium communities.  Testifying at hearings, drafting and filing legislation and establishing a strong voice at the New Hampshire state house and with legislators through grass roots efforts, the committee of CAI volunteer members seeks to preserve and enhance the community association lifestyle through legislative initiatives.

Volunteer members of the New Hampshire Legislative Action Committees (NHLAC) work countless hours throughout the year but new threats and opportunities require LACs to employ government affairs professionals in order to maintain a high-level of advocacy. Your contribution is critical in helping the NHLAC fulfill their advocacy mission and help shape the debate concerning issues important to New Hampshire community associations.

CAI PUBLIC POLICY STATEMENTS

To guide advocacy efforts, CAI's Government & Public Affairs Committee (G&PA Committee) has worked to develop public policy positions on key issue areas that affect CAI members. Because CAI is a membership organization, members can propose a public policy for consideration by the G&PA Committee and Board of Directors. Through member input, CAI develops, reviews and adopts public policy statements.
