Take Action, Eliminate Surprises
In the wake of the tragic collapse of Champlain Towers South Condominium in Surfside, Fla., condominium homeowners around New England are asking questions about the safety of their buildings. Association boards are evaluating their maintenance plans and examining reserve funding for capital repairs and replacements.
Communities of all ages and sizes need to take action and understand how to timely identify and proactively address building maintenance issues on an ongoing and routine basis. Find out how to assemble a professional team that will help your community make good decisions.
Assemble a Professional Team
Webinar panel members will offer guidance in assembling a professional team and discuss the important conversations communities should have including:
- The need for reserve studies which will assess the community’s common elements and offer an analysis of remaining useful life;
- Developing a plan by which to fund reserves via regular assessment contributions and addressing reserve shortfalls which may include special assessments and/or bank loans;
- Establishing ongoing communication with board members and owners to ensure that everyone understands the importance of addressing building maintenance, repairs and replacements.
