Community Associations Institute (CAI) is the nation's voice for condominium, cooperative and homeowner associations advocating and providing for better living through community associations. The Institute is an International, not for profit 501(c)(6) member organization created in 1973 to educate and represent America's residential community associations and related professionals and service providers. It is a multidisciplinary alliance dedicated to the development of effective community associations. CAI estimates that more than 66 million residents live in a common interest community and at last count there were more than 333,600 community associations in the United States.

With 60 chapters worldwide offering services and programs to members, the New England Chapter of the Community Associations Institute (CAI-NE), established more than 35 years ago, is among the largest. CAI-NE, with its many volunteer leaders from around the chapter and its professional staff, brings to New England association leaders, homeowners and industry professionals and providers of association services a variety of member benefits including a monthly chapter magazine Condo Media, educational seminars, networking events, publications and a host of other resources designed specifically for the unique challenges facing New England communities.
