EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
Educational Seminars
CAI provides affordable educational seminars for board members and homeowners that address issues facing community association leaders. Seminars for professional managers are designed for both novice and more experienced community association managers.
CALENDAR OF EVENTS

Manager Designations
CAI offers the Professional Development Program for Managers (PMDP) to train association managers in an intensive seven-course curriculum followed by a rigorous case study and exam. Associations are able to identify the most skilled, most highly trained individuals and companies through CAI's professional designations.

Conference & Expo
The Chapter's Annual Conference & Expo is the largest conference and expo in New England for community association homeowners, trustees, industry professionals and vendors. This full-day educational event provides attendees the flexibility to participate in several informational seminars focusing on the needs and concerns of community associations. The expo spotlights a variety of industry vendors and participants can find out what new and innovative industry products and services are available.

Annual Chapter Resource Directory
This annual resource directory contains listings of New England community associations, professionals and vendors providing services and products to the community association industry. This resource directory is avaialble to members online and in a hard copy version.

The Chapter's website, CAINE.org, keeps you up to date with the many activities at the local chapter level. The site features a regularly updated Calendar of Events, informative articles and reports, and much more.

To reach out on a more national level, the CAI National office maintains a site with links to other related community association sites throughout the country.

Chapter Library
The Chapter's Library is always open to members who are welcome to research our many professional publications and resource files on hand.

Standard Forms
To assist associations and industry professionals, the chapter continues to work in developing standards forms and procedures that are universally accepted, including Model Laundry Contracts, Fannie Mae Affidavit/Lender Questionnaire, Notary Requirements, 6(d) certificates and more.

NETWORKING
Committees
Committee members are the backbone of CAI and the resource that makes the New England chapter successful. Leadership skills are developed when you participate on one of the chapters many committees. Committee participation also offers an invaluable opportunity to meet and network with other community association homeowners and trustees as well as industry professionals and service providers.
VIEW COMMITTEES

Social Events
Various social gatherings like the annual awards banquet and golf & tennis tournament, are held throughout the year to provide an opportunity to network with other association volunteer leaders, homeowners, industry professionals and product/service providers. Hundreds of members participate in these events annually.

LEGISLATIVE ACTIVITY
The Legislative Action Committee is devoted to keeping informed of legislative issues affecting community associations. Testifying at hearings, drafting and filing legislation and establishing a strong voice at the state house through grass root efforts, the committee seeks to preserve and enhance the community association lifestyle through legislative initiatives.
