Community Associations Institute (CAI) is the nation's voice for condominium, cooperative and homeowner associations advocating and providing for better living through community associations. The Institute is a national, not for profit 501(c)(6) member organization created in 1973 to educate and represent America's residential community associations and related professionals and service providers. It is a multidisciplinary alliance dedicated to the development of effective community associations. CAI estimates that more than 57 million Americans live in a common interest community and at last count there were more than 286,000 community associations in the United States.

With 55 local chapters offering regional services and programs to members throughout the country, the New England Chapter of the Community Associations Institute (CAI-NE), established more than 20 years ago, is the 3rd largest chapter in the country with nearly 2000 members. CAI-NE, with its many volunteer leaders from around the chapter and its professional staff based in Wellesley, Massachusetts, brings to New England association leaders, homeowners and industry professionals and providers of association services a variety of member benefits including a monthly chapter magazine Condo Media, educational seminars, networking events, publications and a host of other resources designed specifically for the unique challenges facing New England communities.
