Open to all attorney members of the chapter, this committee meets to discuss issues of relevance and importance to community association law including case rulings and interpretations on both the state and federal level. The committee also serves as a resource to the chapter in developing various programs and services to assist, inform and educate members on legal aspects of community associations.

Banquet

This committee is charged with organizing the annual banquet recognizing the achievements of chapter members and volunteers throughout the year. The committee will oversee the selection of facilities, themes and overall program and will be responsible for the review and establishment of all awards and criteria as well as the selection of award winners from nominated candidates.

Communications

The Communications Committee is responsible for enhancing the chapter’s visibility to a wider audience which includes homeowners of Community Associations and their board members, real estate professionals and service providers, utilizing current technology.

Conference & Expo

The Conference & Expo Committee will provide educational sessions and trade shows in keeping with the highest standards of excellence of the chapter.  Responsible for coordinating locations and dates for the events, the committee will also identify specifications for trade shows held in conjunction with the conferences.

Golf Tournament

Responsible for coordinating chapter golf outings, the committee will choose the locations and dates for the events and oversee all event activities including registration, sponsorships, volunteers, media relations and other publicity.

Managers’ Roundtable Forum

The Managers’ Roundtable Forum provides a networking opportunity for community association managers from around the chapter to discuss issues that affect the industry. The forum is open to all CAI-member managers in good standing.

CAI Legislative Action Committees are your link to legislatures, regulatory bodies and the courts.  Working in close coordination with CAI’s Government & Public Affairs Department, the committees promote CAI’s public policies and represent the interests of community association residents and professionals before lawmakers and other policy-setting bodies both locally and federally.

Membership

The membership committee will provide overall focus and direction to the growth of new members and retention of current members of the chapter. In conjunction with CAI staff, the committee will coordinate membership development and retention programs from all interest group categories.

Program Advisory Council

This council will establish programming policies as well as identify, recommend and implement industry programs including managers’ programs, Professional Management Development Programs (PMDP), homeowner and trustee workshops, specialized programs for Conferences and Expos and other educational events.
